E40- PS4, Xbox One, Dell Venue Tablets, Zune, iPad Air on Fire, Assassin’s Creed Film | Red Headed Geek Show

This week I did some reviews on the new Dell Venue Tablet Series and just to let you know this Black Friday the Dell Venue 8, usually $179.99, will be on sale! Yep! On Dell's website as a virtual door buster for $129.99, or $50 off. Another Black Friday special is the Dell Inspiron 11 300 Series with touchscreen for 299, as well as the Inspiron One 20 for 349.

According to Microsoft,as early as November 22nd, the Zune Marketplace will not be able to browse, rent or purchase movies, TX shows and music. This is due to the retirement of Microsoft Points. Purchased Zune content will be available through Xbox Video.

So much going on with the Sony PS4 and it is OUT TODAY! HOORAY! But If you were curious when Sony would add MP3 and CD playback support, it will be there for the PS4. If you’re wondering why the change, the team apparently didn’t really think about those features during the consoles development, apparently were surprised by the online reaction and listened to the people. In Addition, the Playstation app is launching for Android and iOS in North America.

Late last week, several news organizations reported that a new iPad Air on display in an Australian Vodafone shop exploded and continued to spew smoke and flames until the fire department arrived to extinguish the blaze. The Australian media reported that flames began spewing from the tablet’s charger port and the device continued to erupt with sparks, causing shop workers to evacuate the store and call in the fire department. Guess what guys? Turns out it wasn’t an iPad Air at all! It was a retina model, a 3 or 4 (still an Apple). Either way, new iPad Air buyers can sleep a little easier at night knowing that their houses are likely safe if they leave their iPad Air tablets plugged in overnight.

ASSASSINS CREED. MOVIE. Yeah? Cant you tell it looks just like that guy in the game that you never can tell what he looks like (I think it's because of his hoodie)? Yeah that’s him. Its Micheal Fassbender who recently played the awesome robot in Prometheus and stars in the X-Men: First Class movie. Assassins Creed Opens August 7th 2015. I only wonder whether it will be worth watching or not.

An Xbox one is being guarded by sharks. Microsoft is planning an elaborate launch for the Xbox One as a total of 10,000 retail locations across 13 countries will be open at midnight on November 22 to sell as many Xbox Ones as they possibly can. This launching event is very strange. The first Xbox One to be sold is submerged in an aquarium in New Zealand. Here it can be safe until it is removed and presented to the first customer in line during the midnight launch event.

Apparently bike helmets can be invisible and still completely safe! I did not know what I was getting into when reading this but, it is happening in Sweden. Two women who find traditional helmets to be a bit of a bummer decided to spend a lot of time and effort to change it's physicality. These women collected and studied reports of bicycle helmet accidents and staged accidents, took seven years trying to figure out how to make these things better. People said it was impossible. But hey, its not. And its also not invisible it inflates when upon a dangerous crashing situation. Its kinda amazing but its an air bag gadget around your neck.
