  • 1 x small plastic scribe

Installation and Removal Instructions
Latitude 9440 2-In-1 LCD Display Assembly

Before you begin: If you need help at any point, you can always contact Parts-People Laptop Repair Department for help with your diagnosis or repair.

Step 1

Unscrew and remove the Bottom Base Cover (6 x captive screws).

Step 2

Disconnect the battery cable.

Step 3

  • Disconnect the battery cable.
Unscrew and remove the LCD cable bracket (2 x 1.6mm x 3mm).

Step 4

  • Unscrew and remove the LCD cable bracket (2 x 1.6mm x 3mm).
Unscrew and remove the LCD cable bracket (2 x 1.6mm x 3mm).Unscrew and remove the LCD cable bracket (2 x 1.6mm x 3mm).
Unclip the locking tabs and disconnect the display cable.

Step 5

  • Unclip the locking tabs and disconnect the display cable.

Unscrew the left and right LCD hinges (6 x M2.5 x 4mm).

Step 6

  • Unscrew the left and right LCD hinges (6 x M2.5 x 4mm).
  • Open the display assembly and separate it from the palmrest assembly.
  • ***FOLLOW THE ORIGINAL STEPS IN REVERSE TO REASSEMBLE YOUR LAPTOP.
