Use a Phillips Screwdriver to unscrew the

Use a Phillips Screwdriver to unscrew the Bottom Base Cover (7 x M2 x 4mm) (2 x captive screws).
Use a Plastic Scribe to pry apart and remove the Bottom Base Cover.

Step 3

Unscrew and disconnect the Battery (5 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 4

Unscrew the Left Cooling Fan (2 x M2 x 4mm).
Disconnect and remove the cooling fan.

Step 5

Unscrew the Right Cooling Fan (2 x M2 x 4mm).
Disconnect and remove the cooling fan.

Unscrew and remove the Heatsink (4 x captive screws).

Step 6

Unscrew and remove the Heatsink (4 x captive screws).

Unscrew and remove the WiFi bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 7

Unscrew and remove the WiFi bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).
Disconnect the antenna cables and slide out the WiFi Card.

Step 8

Unscrew the USB/SD Card IO Board (2 x M2 x 3mm).
Unclip tabs (in the direction indicated) and then disconnect the USB/SD Card IO Board.

Step 9

Disconnect the LCD cable.

Unscrew and separate the LCD Screen Assembly from the palmrest (6 x

Unscrew and separate the LCD Screen Assembly from the palmrest (6 x M2.5 x 5mm).

Step 11

Unscrew the Motherboard (2 x M2 x 3mm) (2 x M2 x 5mm) (1 x M2 x 2mm).
Unclip each locking tab (in the direction shown in the image) and then disconnect the motherboard cables.
Lift out the Motherboard.

Step 12

Remove the DC Jack.

Step 13

Remove the Speakers.

The remaining piece is the Keyboard Palmrest Assembly.

Step 14

The remaining piece is the Keyboard Palmrest Assembly.
