  • 1 x Torx #5 screwdriver
  • 1 x Phillips #0 screwdriver
  • 1 x small plastic scribe

Installation and Removal Instructions
XPS 13 (9315) LCD Display Assembly

Before you begin: If you need help at any point, you can always contact Parts-People Laptop Repair Department for help with your diagnosis or repair.

Step 1

Unscrew and remove the Bottom Base Cover (8 x

Disconnect the battery cable.

Step 3

  • Disconnect the battery cable.
Unscrew and remove the LCD connector from the interposer board (2 x M1.6 x 3.5mm) .

Step 4

  • Unscrew and remove the LCD connector from the interposer board (2 x M1.6 x 3.5mm) .

Unscrew the 2 LCD cable brackets (4 x 1.6mm x 2.3mm).

Step 5

  • Unscrew the 2 LCD cable brackets (4 x 1.6mm x 2.3mm).
Unscrew and lift the left LCD hinge (3 x 2.5mm x 4.3mm) (1 x 1.6mm x 3mm) (1 x M1.6 x 2.5mm).

Step 6

  • Unscrew and lift the left LCD hinge (3 x 2.5mm x 4.3mm) (1 x 1.6mm x 3mm) (1 x M1.6 x 2.5mm).

Unscrew and lift the right LCD hinge (3 x 2.5mm x 4.3mm) (1 x 1.6mm x 3mm) (1 x M1.6 x 2.5mm).

Step 7

  • Unscrew and lift the right LCD hinge (3 x 2.5mm x 4.3mm) (1 x 1.6mm x 3mm) (1 x M1.6 x 2.5mm).
