Slide the release latch to unlock your primary SSD.

Unclip the locking tab to unlatch and disconnect the Power Button cable.

Remove the protective shield from the WWAN Card.

Unscrew the LCD bracket and then disconnect the LCD cable (1 x M2 x 5mm).

Unscrew and then turn over the Motherboard (7 x M2 x 5mm) (2 x 2mm x 3.5mm).

Step 23

  • Unscrew and then turn over the Motherboard (7 x M2 x 5mm) (2 x 2mm x 3.5mm).
  • Disconnect the CMOS Battery,
Unscrew and then turn over the Motherboard (7 x M2 x 5mm) (2 x 2mm x 3.5mm).Disconnect the CMOS Battery,Unscrew and then turn over the Motherboard (7 x M2 x 5mm) (2 x 2mm x 3.5mm).
***BEFORE REINSTALLING YOUR HEATSINK: Completely wipe off the old thermal paste from the processor.

Then completely wipe away any old thermal paste from the heatsink.
