  • Disconnect the lcd cable connectors.

Unscrew and remove the I/O board bridge connector (6 x M2 x 4mm).

Step 7

  • Unscrew and remove the I/O board bridge connector (6 x M2 x 4mm).

Disconnect the speaker cable.

Unscrew and remove the power button cable bracket (1 x M2 x 2mm).

Step 9

  • Unscrew and remove the power button cable bracket (1 x M2 x 2mm).
  • Disconnect the power button cable.

Unscrew and remove the I/O Circuit Board (3 x 2mm x 2.5mm).

Step 10

Unscrew the bottom hinge screws (4 x 2.5mm x 2.5mm).

Step 11

  • Unscrew the bottom hinge screws (4 x 2.5mm x 2.5mm).
  • Open the LCD Display Assembly and separate it from the palmrest assembly.
  • ***FOLLOW THESE STEPS IN REVERSE TO REINSTALL YOUR PART.

Unscrew the WLAN bracket (1 x M2 x 2mm).

Step 12

  • Unscrew the WLAN bracket (1 x M2 x 2mm).
  • Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables.

Disconnect the heatsink fan assembly.

Step 13

  • Disconnect the heatsink fan assembly.
  • Unscrew and remove the Heatsink Cooling Fan Assembly (2 x M2 x 4mm).

Unclip the locking tab and disconnect the motherboard cable.

Step 14

  • Unclip the locking tab and disconnect the motherboard cable.

Step 15

  • Unclip the locking tab and disconnect the motherboard cable.

Unscrew and remove the Motherboard (2 x 2mm x 2.5mm) (3 x M2 x 4mm).

Step 16

  • Unscrew and remove the Motherboard (2 x 2mm x 2.5mm) (3 x M2 x 4mm).

Peel back the daughterboard cable to expose the keyboard.
