Installation and Removal Instructions
Latitude 13 (3320) Motherboard

Loosen the bottom base screws (7 x captive screws).

Step 1

  • Loosen the bottom base screws (7 x captive screws).
  • Use a plastic scribe to separate and remove the Bottom Base Cover.

Disconnect the battery connector.

Step 2

  • Disconnect the battery connector.
Unscrew and remove the SSD bracket assembly (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 3

  • Unscrew and remove the SSD bracket assembly (1 x M2 x 3mm).
Unscrew and remove the wireless card support bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 4

  • Unscrew and remove the wireless card support bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).
  • Disconnect antenna cables and slide out the Wireless WiFi Card.
Unscrew and remove the wireless card support bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).Disconnect antenna cables and slide out the Wireless WiFi Card.Unscrew and remove the wireless card support bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).
Remove the left cooling fan screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 5

Remove the left cooling fan screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).Disconnect and remove the Left Cooling Fan.Remove the left cooling fan screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).
Remove the right cooling fan screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 6

Remove the right cooling fan screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).Disconnect and remove the Right Cooling Fan.Remove the right cooling fan screws (2 x M2 x 3mm).
Unscrew and remove the CPU Heatsink (4 x captive screws).

Step 7

Unscrew and remove the CPU Heatsink (4 x captive screws).Unscrew and remove the CPU Heatsink (4 x captive screws).
Unscrew the LCD connector bracket and then disconnect the LCD cable (1 X 2mm x 2.5mm wafer).

Step 8

  • Unscrew the LCD connector bracket and then disconnect the LCD cable (1 X 2mm x 2.5mm wafer).
Unscrew the LCD connector bracket and then disconnect the LCD cable (1 X 2mm x 2.5mm wafer).Unscrew the LCD connector bracket and then disconnect the LCD cable (1 X 2mm x 2.5mm wafer).
Unscrew and then lift the right LCD hinge (2 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 9

  • Unscrew and then lift the right LCD hinge (2 x M2 x 3mm).

Unscrew and remove the metal bracket from motherboard.

Step 10

  • Unscrew and remove the metal bracket from motherboard.
Disconnect and remove the DC jack/charging port.

Step 11

  • Disconnect and remove the DC jack/charging port.
Disconnect and remove the DC jack/charging port.Disconnect and remove the DC jack/charging port.
Disconnect motherboard cables. Use a plastic scribe to unclip connectors where needed.

Step 12

  • Disconnect motherboard cables. Use a plastic scribe to unclip connectors where needed.
  • Unscrew and remove the Motherboard (1 x 2mm x 2.5mm wafer).
Disconnect motherboard cables. Use a plastic scribe to unclip connectors where needed.Unscrew and remove the Motherboard (1 x 2mm x 2.5mm wafer).Disconnect motherboard cables. Use a plastic scribe to unclip connectors where needed.
