Installation and Removal Instructions
Latitude 13 (3320) M.2 NVMe SSD

Loosen the bottom base screws (7 x captive screws).

Step 1

  • Loosen the bottom base screws (7 x captive screws).
  • Use a plastic scribe to separate and remove the Bottom Base Cover.

Disconnect the battery connector.

Step 2

  • Disconnect the battery connector.
Unscrew and remove the SSD bracket assembly (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 3

Unscrew and remove the SSD bracket assembly (1 x M2 x 3mm).Unscrew and remove the M.2 PCIe SSD (1 x Unscrew and remove the SSD bracket assembly (1 x M2 x 3mm).
There are 2 SSD options for this laptop. The smaller 2230 SSD and the larger 2280 SSD. The only difference between them is their physical size and the need for a support bracket for the 2230 (shown in this repair).

Step 4
