  • 1 x small phillips head screw driver
  • 1 x small plastic scribe

Installation and Removal Instructions
Dell Inspiron 1420n LCD Camera

Slide the 2 battery latches towards the outside of the laptop.

Step 1

  • Slide the 2 battery latches towards the outside of the laptop.
  • Slide the battery out.
Turn the laptop over and open it up as wide as possible.

Step 2

  • Turn the laptop over and open it up as wide as possible.
  • Remove the screw hole covers.
Remove the 6 bezel screws.

Step 3

  • Remove the 6 bezel screws.
  • Starting at the bottom, carefully unsnap the bezel working your way around the screen.

Unplug the camera cable.

Step 4

  • Unplug the camera cable.
  • Remove the (2) 2mm x 3mm LCD camera screws.
  • Lift the camera out of the back assembly.
Unplug the camera cable. Remove the (2) 2mm x 3mm LCD camera screws.
