Installation and Removal Instructions
Dell Inspiron 17-7778 (P30E001) Display Panel

Remove bottom base screws (12 x M2.5 x 7mm).

Step 1

Remove bottom base screws (12 x M2.5 x 7mm).Use fingers to separate and remove Bottom Base.Remove bottom base screws (12 x M2.5 x 7mm).
Unscrew Battery.

Step 2

Unscrew Battery.Disconnect and remove battery (4 x M2 x 3mm).Unscrew Battery.
Unscrew and remove bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).

Step 3

  • Unscrew and remove bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).
  • Disconnect and loosen antenna cables.
  • Remove WLAN Card.
Unscrew and remove bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).Disconnect and loosen antenna cables.Remove WLAN Card.Unscrew and remove bracket (1 x M2 x 3mm).
Disconnect display cables from motherboard.

Step 4

Disconnect display cables from motherboard.Unscrew and remove LCD Display Assembly</a data-src=
Use fingers to pry apart and separate screen from Back Cover.

Step 5

  • Use fingers to pry apart and separate screen from Back Cover.

Disconnect and remove Touch Screen Circuit Board.

Step 6

Disconnect and remove Touch Screen Circuit Board.Disconnect and remove Touch Screen Circuit Board.
Remove circuit board screw (1 x M2.5 x 2.5mm wafer).

Step 7

Remove circuit board screw (1 x M2.5 x 2.5mm wafer).Disconnect and remove Sensor Board.Remove circuit board screw (1 x M2.5 x 2.5mm wafer).
Disconnect and remove Web Camera.

Step 8

Disconnect and remove Web Camera.Disconnect and remove Web Camera.
Disconnect and remove Display Cable.

Step 9

The remaining piece is the Display Panel.
