Installation and Removal Instructions
Latitude E7470 (P61G001) Touchscreen

Loosen the screws.

Step 1

Loosen the screws.Remove the Access Door.Loosen the screws.
Unplug the battery cable.

Step 2

  • Unplug the battery cable.
Turn the laptop over & open it up.

Step 3

  • Turn the laptop over & open it up.
  • Using a scribe, carefully pry up the edge of the screen.

Turn the screen over & lay it on the keyboard.

Step 4

  • Turn the screen over & lay it on the keyboard.

Loosen the touchscreen cable tape. Unplug the touchscreen cable.

Step 5

  • Loosen the touchscreen cable tape. Unplug the touchscreen cable.

Loosen the LCD cable tape.

Step 6

  • Loosen the LCD cable tape.
  • Unplug the LCD cable.
  • Remove the Touchscreen.
