Installation and Removal Instructions
Inspiron 11-3148 (P20T-002) 3000 Series Motherboard

Unsnap & remove the access door.

Step 1

  • Remove the screws.
  • Unsnap & remove the access door.

Step 2

  • Unplug & loosen the hard drive cable.
  • Remove the screws.
  • Remove the battery.

Separate the clips & remove the memory.

Step 3

  • Separate the clips & remove the memory.

Remove the screws.

Step 4

  • Loosen the tape.
  • Remove the screws.
  • Remove the hard drive.

Loosen the screws.

Step 5

  • Unplug the fan cable.
  • Loosen the screws.
  • Remove the heatsink / fan.
Loosen the screws.Remove the heatsink / fan.Unplug the fan cable.
Remove the bracket.

Step 6

  • Remove the bracket screws.
  • Remove the bracket.

Unplug the LCD cables.

Step 7

  • Remove the tape.
  • Unplug the LCD cables.

Unplug the keyboard cable.

Step 8

  • Unplug the daughterboard cable.
  • Unplug the keyboard cable.
  • Slide the latches to the left to loosen the cable.

Unplug the speaker cable.

Step 9

  • Unplug the DC jack cable.
  • Unplug the speaker cable.
  • Unplug the touchpad cable.

Remove the motherboard.

Step 10

  • Remove the motherboard screw.
  • Remove the motherboard.
