  • 1 x T5 star screwdriver
  • 1 x small plastic scribe

Installation and Removal Instructions
Dell XPS 13 (L321X) Ultrabook Touchpad

Lift the base cover off of laptop.

Step 1

  • Remove the 10 base screws.
  • Lift the base cover off of laptop.
Unplug the battery.

Step 2

  • Unplug the battery.
Unplug the LED circuit board cable.

Step 3

  • Unplug the daughter board ribbon cable.
  • Unplug the LED circuit board cable.
Unplug the LED circuit board cable. Unplug the daughter board ribbon cable.
Remove the battery from the laptop.

Step 4

  • Remove the 8 battery screws.
  • Remove the battery from the laptop.
Remove the 4 touchpad screws.

Step 5

  • Unplug the touchpad cable.
  • Remove the 4 touchpad screws.
Remove the 4 touchpad screws. Unplug the touchpad cable.
Remove the touchpad from the ultrabook.

Step 6

  • Remove the touchpad from the ultrabook.
