Product Warranty, Returns, and Exchanges


One (1) Year Limited Warranty
Parts-People.com, Inc. guarantees every product that we sell for one (1) year or (365 days) of purchase date. If your product fails within 365 days of the purchase date, we will replace it at our expense. Warranty claims that are more than 60 days from purchase will require the product to be shipped to our warranty testing facility to undergo warranty testing and/or repairs.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
Parts-People.com, Inc. of 2929 Longhorn Blvd. #101, Austin, Texas 78758 U.S.A. (“Parts-People.com”) warrants all hardware products and accessories sold by Parts-People.com contained in the original packaging against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally, for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period").

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
Failure or damage resulting from misuse, accident, physical damage, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment, natural disasters, power surges, or improper maintenance by you. This warranty is voided by removal or alteration of identification labels on the product or its parts.

30 Day (Hassle Free) Returns
We want you to enjoy the items you purchase from Parts-People.com, if you ordered the wrong part or need to return it for any reason, don't worry. Just send it back within 30 days of purchase date to receive money back (Returns must be unworn, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us). All working returns are subject to a small restocking fee.

  • Refunds must be issued to the same credit card, debit card, gift certificate, or other form of payment used in the original transaction.
  • All working returns are subject to a 15% or $15 restocking fee; whichever is less.
  • Parts-People.com may refuse a customer return when the returned item is not in the original sold condition. Examples of conditions that will lead to refused returns include:
    • Returned item is a different serial number than the one Parts-People.com originally shipped.
    • Returned item is missing parts or the original product packing material.
    • Returned item was damaged because it was improperly packaged for return shipment.
    • Returned item has been heavily used (such as when a camera shutter counter shows that more than 300 pictures have been taken).

Please notify us within 30 days of purchase date if you would like to return or exchange a product. The purchase date is the date on your invoice. We cannot accept return requests after 30 days of the purchase date. To return a product to Parts-people.com INC, contact us at 866-816-5254 to request a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. When returning a product, please include the following information: copy of this invoice in the box, if you have reordered a different item because you ordered the wrong part, include that invoice number as well, and a description of the items or item(s) you would like to return and a brief reason for return. Failure to include all information above will delay refund processing. Original shipping charges will be deducted from the refund unless the return is the result of an error by Parts-people.com. Upon our receipt of the parcel, you will receive a refund within 10 business days unless otherwise notified by e-mail. Your bank may require additional time to process the refund. We can only issue a credit to the original credit card used to purchase.

Exchanges
If you ordered the wrong part and you want to exchange it for another part: you the customer must order the correct/new product prior to sending back the item you are returning for exchange/refund, the item must be in good working condition (it will be tested upon receipt), exchanges will be subject to a 15% restocking fee, unless the part you ordered to exchange is equal or greater to the price of the returned item, copy of original item invoice MUST BE IN BOX with invoice number of new item purchased. If the new item purchased invoices number is not written or included on the invoice, the 15% restocking fee automatically applies, no shipping will refunded.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARTS-PEOPLE.COM IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE PARTS-PEOPLE.COM PRODUCT OR ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION STORED IN THE PARTS-PEOPLE.COM PRODUCT.
THE FOREGOING LIMITATION SHALL NOT APPLY TO DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS, OR ANY STATUTORY LIABILITY FOR INTENTIONAL AND GROSS NEGLIGENT ACTS AND/OR OMISSIONS. PARTS-PEOPLE.COM DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PARTS-PEOPLE.COM PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR REPLACE THE PARTS-PEOPLE.COM PRODUCT WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF INFORMATION STORED ON THE PARTS-PEOPLE.COM PRODUCT.
